Al-Awda's Coordinating Committee Announces Annual Membership Dues for 2010

After careful consideration and review, the newly elected coordinating committee of Al-Awda The Palestine Right to Return Coalition has determined the following annual membership dues effective January 1, 2010:
- Individual $25.00
- Student $15.00
- Family: $40.00
Family membership includes parents and their children up to 18 years of age.
In addition to the membership rights outlined in the organizational by-laws, a dues-paying member as well as monthly and annual sustainers of the organization will receive:
- A personal Al-Awda membership card
- Discounts on some of Al-Awda's educational supplies
- Special offers on admission tickets to Al-Awda events
- Free copies of Al-Awda's news letters
- Access to Al-Awda's resource center and library

Membership dues provides additional much needed support for Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, and its educational and charitable programs which have grown significantly over the past ten years in our efforts to keep the right of Palestinians to return to their homes of origin central to any discussion of the Palestinan cause. They also provide greater transparency and accountability in terms of membership, chapters and growth of the organization. The revenue from membership will help offset some of the organizational costs associated with the national office, website, documentation etc. Membership dues and the associated benefits are not intended to prevent anyone from continuing to work with Al-Awda based on its ten-year old mission and by-laws and points of unity of the organization as determined by its members at its annual conventions.
The newly elected coordinating committee wishes to thank the members of this organization for their continued activism and support.
