Calling All Artists "Uniting for the Return" T-Shirt Design Contest

The Host Committee of Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition's landmark Fifth Annual International Convention is pleased to announce a t-shirt design contest based on the theme of the convention - "Uniting for the Return."

The convention will take place in Southern California May 25-27, 2007. This date was chosen to commemorate the Nakba, the 59th year since the "State of Israel" was declared on stolen Palestinian land, resulting in the Zionist occupation of all of Palestine.

The convention will address the next phase of our struggle in the shataat (exile).

Please submit your shirt design entry as high resolution jpg file to shirt-design@al-awda.org no later than January 31, 2007.

The host committee will announce the winning design in early February.

The artist whose design is selected will receive a beautiful medium or large size, thick-silver Palestine map pendant of their choice (see Palestine Map Pendants) and free admission to the convention.
