The Riverdale Press is a large newpaper in the Bronx area and is in the Heart of Zionist Land. This is a letter to the editor written by Jawad H. Hamayel published on January 04, 2001, in response to a letter to the editor by Mr. Leo Rosentein (Dec. 17, 2000), in response to Abbas Hamidah's letter (Dec 07, 2000), in response a letter by George E. Rubin ("Leftist elites betrayed Israel," Nov.16, 2000).

To the Editor:

The letter to the editor in the Dec. 17, 2000 issue written by Mr. Leo Rosentein in response to Abbas Hamidah's article is full of Zionist propaganda, which the Zionist leadership itself admitted that they have deliberately created to justify the occupation of Palestine. It is essential for the readers of The Riverdale Press to get the real, unblemished facts about Zionism and Israel in order to understand the roots of the conflict in the Middle East. Instead of responding to the misinformation that Mr. Rosentein disseminated, I will let the Zionist leaders that Mr. Rosenstein respects so much, explain to him that the "facts" he mentioned are fabricated blatant lies. To prevent any accusations of falsity, I will quote Moshe Sharett's (a Zionist who served as Israel's prime and foreign minister during the 1950's) diary published in a book titled "Israel's Sacred Terrorism," by Livia Rokach and excerpts from articles published in Israeli newspapers.

Moshe Dayan on the displacement of Palestinians: " we came to this country, which was already populated by Arabs, and we are establishing a Jewish state. Jewish villages were built in the place of the Arab villages. You don't even know the names of the Arab villages, because those geography books no longer exist. Not only the books do not exist, the Arab villages are not there either… there is not one place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population." ( Ha'aretz 1978) Thus, Moshe Dayan clearly admitted that the Zionist movement attempted to change the history and geography of Palestine to justify the occupation. Dayan's statement also negates Mr. Rosentein claim that "Israel has succeeded in absorbing thousands of homeless people." According to Dayan's statement, the land clearly belonged to the Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Arabs were displaced from their own homes!

Zionist movement massacre described by an Etzel (Zionist militia) commander: "Killed between 80 to 100 Arabs, women and children. To kill the children, they fractured their heads with sticks…educated commanders became mass murderers, but as a method of expulsion and extermination. The fewer the Arabs who remain, the better." ( Davar 1979) This statement describes the methods of terrorism used by the Zionist movement to ethnically cleanse Palestine. It also serves as an example of the kind of hate that the Zionists have toward the Arabs. Unfortunately, this hate is being taught to Jewish settlers all over occupied Palestine in Zionist textbooks and Zionist religious teachings of Rabbi's, such as the teachings of Rabbi Ovadia Youseff.

Moshe Sharett on the security claim: "I have been mediating on the long chain of false incidents and hostilities we have invented and on the many violations of the law by our men, all of which brought grave disasters and determined the whole course of events and contributed to the security crisis." (Rokach) Mr. Sharett admits that the security of Israel was compromised due to the actions and ill intentions of the Zionist entity toward its neighbors, not the other way around as Mr. Rosentein tried to propagate.

These are few examples of fascist acts committed and narrated by Zionists. Thousands of documents and research material about similar atrocities were documented by the United Nations and other human rights organizations. Yet few people are aware of the dark side of Zionism and Israel. As the Zionists succeeded in erasing the Palestinian villages and towns from the history and geography of the Middle East, they also succeeded in covering their true identities.

Unless Israel and its supporters recognize the full rights of the Palestinians including the right of return, true peace in the region cannot be achieved. It saddens me to find individuals who still believe in propaganda that its creators admitted it is unashamed lies.
