Al-Awda PRRC joined many organizations working for Palestine in hosting Janna Jihad, the youngest Palestinian journalist, as part of her cross-U.S. tour with 2 Suns Shamsaan, a South African childrens-rights organization. Janna spoke movingly about her experiences exposing the reality of Israeli occupation, displacement and apartheid.

In South Florida, Al-Awda PRRC welcomed Janna with a community dinner, gathering and evening celebrating her work as a journalist and the importance of youth voices in raising awareness for a free Palestine on August 10. You can watch the video of Janna’s South Florida event online here:
