WAHEEB NASAN:
Palestinian rapper and hip-hop artist, who has performed around the world to raise the voice of the Palestinian cause!
He has performed all over the U.S., and has even toured globally, from Canada to the U.K. He has opened up for Mohammad Assaf, Fares Karam, Ragab Alama, Lowkey, and many more!
JABOUR AND THE BAND:
We’re proud to be hosting Palestinian star singer Jabour Bakla and his award-winning Palestinian band, straight from Houston!
Enjoy amazing Palestinian national music and all of your favorite songs, performed by our special guests.
….and that’s not all!! We’ll also be hosting a special Palestinian fashion show will be presented by MC Nisreen Malhis.
Enjoy delicious Palestinian food provided by Chef Ammar Omar, served from 12 pm to 4 pm. Suggested donation $20/plate! Hot and fresh knafeh will be served by Knafeh Cafe!
Dabkeh performances by talented young members of our community, engaging hip-hop/rap and spoken word performances, children’s activities with education and entertainment, and a special exhibition on 75 years of Palestinian resilience honoring the strength and courage of our people and commemoration of the Sabra and Shatila massacre, co-organized with the Palestinian Youth Movement.

1- Please Come in through the gate on Spring Street.
2- El Dorado East Regional Park parking fees are $7 (CASH ONLY).
3- There will be signs with Al-Awda name to guide you to the Golden Grove picnic site.
4- Kindly follow the speed limit. This is important to help us avoid being penalized!
5- Please keep cars off the grass. Cars aren’t permitted to park on the lawn to load or to unload.
