On September 26, Al-Awda NY hosted Palestinian journalist Shatha Hanaysha, a witness to the murder of legendary Al-Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh by Israeli occupation forces. Shatha was joined on the panel by journalist Ande Richards, Khaled Zayed of American Muslims for Palestine and Fatin Jarara of Al-Awda NY.

Shatha’s US tour is continuing, and she will speak in Anaheim on Sunday, October 1 at 4 pm at the Arab American Community Center, 907 South Beach Boulevard in Anaheim, CA, hosted by Al-Awda PRRC and the Palestinian Youth Movement.
