Diana Buttu: Palestinian Refugee Rights & Negotiations

Diana Buttu is a Palestinian human rights lawyer, former Bir Zeit University professor, and former legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiation team. Buttu received her law degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in Canada and a masters of law from Stanford University. She is currently working as a lawyer on land confiscation, home demolitions, and revocation of residency. Buttu has appeared on numerous news and analysis programs speaking on refugee rights. This presentation, given at the 2010 convention of Al-Awda, the Palestine Right to Return Coalition, is entitled, “Palestinian Refugee Rights, the Palestinian Political Process and the So-Called Negotiations.”
