Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, is pleased to announce that its landmark Fifth Annual International Convention will take place in Embassy Suites Hotel – Anaheim South, Garden Grove, CA May 25-27, 2007. The date commemorates the Nakba, the 59th year since the “State of Israel” was declared on stolen Palestinian land, resulting in the Zionist occupation of all of Palestine. The theme, Uniting for the Return, will address the next phase of our struggle in the shataat (exile). The primary objective of the convention will be to continue the development of campaigns to achieve the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their original homes, towns and villages in occupied Palestine.
